Alex & Kaitlyn - Crosswater Hall at Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, FL

This wedding was quite special to me. My grandparents and Kaitlyn's grandparents have been friends for decades. Through that friendship my mother and Kaitlyn's mother, Janelle, became friends and even served as bridesmaids in each other's weddings. It seems so fitting that I had the honor of playing a small part in Kaitlyn's special day.

Alex and Kaitlyn's love story is one for the ages. They fell head over heels in love their senior year of high school at the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra. Their relationship survived them attending college in different cities and just two short years ago I had the honor of photographing their surprise engagement at La Chua Trail in Gainesville, FL. They booked me for a couples photo session and Alex secretly reached out to let me know he was taking the opportunity to ask for her hand in marriage. The proposal was perfect in every way as was the day they pledged their lives to each other in front of God, family and friends. They said "I do" at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jax Beach, FL and celebrated the night away at the beautiful Crosswater Hall at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra.
