Trevor & Liz | Sweetwater Branch Inn - Gainesville, FL
From our first phone call, I knew Trevor and Liz were my kind of people. They're super chill, go with the flow, and have a love of the outdoors and life in general.
Their big day was at Sweetwater Branch Inn, one of my favorite venues in Gainesville. No matter where you turn in this place it's beautiful and a photographers dream. The day presented itself with just enough rain to be annoying. Liz had to make the difficult decision to have the ceremony in the garden and take a chance on the rain or under the patio. I didn't envy her to be put in this position, but I read her body language like a book. She chose what she knew was best even though it wasn't what she wanted and she mentally put the negativity away and proceeded to have the best day ever.
The bridal party was awesome! Everyone was so helpful, supportive and fun to be around. The ceremony was led by the couple's brother-in-law, Daniel, who knocked it out of the park with a guest appearance from their cousin Spencer and the icing on the cake were the bubbles galore. The reception didn't disappoint either. It was smooth sailing and as always Jonathan from Genius Entertainment is amazing at reading the room and knowing just the right songs to get people on the dance floor. Trevor and Liz danced their first dance as husband and wife to "In Spite of Ourselves" by John Prine and Iris Dement. I had never heard it and I didn't know whether to giggle or tear up so I did a bit of both.
It was such a wonderful day and I couldn't have picked a better wedding and a more gracious couple to photograph my last wedding for now. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jackson!!! I hope you have fun reliving your day through the story in my photographs.
